I scanned in all the work that I created from that one day of sketching at Ghiradelli Square. Ten mermaids and one raven! Not a bad total for a day in the fresh air then, a couple of weeks working off those sketches.

Love the raven and the bright yellow mustard!
That raven was so bold and saucy - he (?) was hopping from table to table, eating the leftovers, even dipping his beak into the almost empty and opened milk containers. There were a couple of ravens on the wires above the terrace, giving him what for so I suspect he was encroaching on somebody's territory. It was a hoot.
